The Prior’s Organic Rye Grain

Our rye grain is 2024 harvest organic grain, grown near Boston, Lincolnshire. Once you have milled the grain, enjoy the fresh, delicious, fulsome nutty flavour with some truly sweet hints, almost caramel!

Our grain is carefully cleaned to remove as much as possible of the stones, seeds, chaff and other impurities which come off the combine when the crop is harvested. It is virtually impossible to remove all the wild oat seeds without removing a significant quantity of viable rye berries, so given the high costs of grain and the desire to minimise waste, we hope you will understand and if you find the odd seed of another variety in the grain!
